  • 英國市場搶跑：過去幾天，英國債券大幅下跌，10年期收益率創下2008年8月以來的新高，30年期收益率也升至1998年以來最高水準。英鎊跌至4月以來的最低點。英國股市暴跌，富時250中型股指數有望創下8月以來最大兩日跌幅。 
  • 英國政府的壓力：英國投資者尤其擔心，揮之不去的價格風險將使英國央行對降息保持謹慎，而收益率上升可能迫使工黨政府提高稅收或進一步增加借貸。市場期待工黨政府加快對公共開支的審查，在不影響GDP的情況下有節制地削減開支。
