Dari sudut fundamental, data PMI zon euro yang dikeluarkan minggu lalu sekali lagi mengesahkan tekanan terhadap ekonomi Eropah. Sektor pembuatan mencatat bacaan 42.7 pada Julai, iaitu paras terendah sejak 2020. Sementara itu, PMI sektor perkhidmatan turut disemak turun kepada 50.9, yang juga merupakan bacaan terendah setakat ini. Dalam persekitaran ini, jangkaan pasaran terhadap kadar faedah puncak ECB semakin menurun, daripada sekitar 3.95% pada Julai kepada 3.8% ketika ini. Pelabur boleh menunggu pasaran menilai sepenuhnya perbezaan kadar faedah antara Eropah dan Amerika Syarikat, sebelum memberi tumpuan kepada kesan data ekonomi seterusnya terhadap hala tuju euro.
