ドル円急落、日銀　為替介入の準備

ドル円相場は、159円40銭前後まで下落し、4月下旬に日本が為替市場に介入した際の160防衛ラインに近づいた。日銀は依然として大規模な国債購入を維持しているが、7月に予定する金融政策決定会合でその後の減額計画を決めることと約束した。この動きはあまりに控えめで、円安圧力につながった。この点に関して、財務省の神田真人財務官は、過度な変動があった場合には適切な行動をとると述べた。また、偶然にも米財務省は日本を為替操作国として監視リストに入れている。 

一方、日本の経済指標はまちまちの結果となった。5月の総合CPIは前年比で4月の2.5％から2.8％に上昇し、2月以来の高水準となった。コアCPIも2.2％から2.5％に上昇したものの、予想の2.6％を下回った。
