火曜日、選挙が近づく中、政治混乱が株式市場の重石となりCAC40指数は1.33％急落し、今年の最安値である7,789.21ポイントで取引を終えた。極右政党が大きく躍進した欧州議会選挙で、マクロン大統領は劣勢に立たされた。マクロン氏の大統領としての役割と外交・国防の主導権は変わらないが、今度の選挙の結果と新首相の任命によって、法案を押し通そうとする彼の努力が妨げられる可能性がある。マクロン派が今月末の選挙で敗北した場合、マクロン氏の辞任はフランス金融界の不安を高めるだろう。
