ドイツ製造業PMIが市場予想を上回る

2023年10月のドイツHCOB製造業PMIは40.7と5ヵ月ぶりの高水準を記録し、これまでの記録であった9月の39.6を上回り、また、市場予想の40を上回った。 

製造業の新規受注は大幅な減少を示したものの、緩和の兆しを見せ、6月以来の低水準となった。同時に、企業の人員削減数は2020年10月以来、過去最多となった。価格面では、工場出荷価格は前月に比べ下落率が鈍化したものの、5ヵ月連続で下落傾向が続いた。一方、製造業は引き続き資材購入コストの大幅な下落に直面している。さらに、メーカーが将来に対して悲観的な見通しを抱いていることも注目すべき点である。

ドイツ総合PMI、景気低迷を示す 

速報値によると、2023年10月のHCOBドイツ総合PMIは45.8に低下し、9月の46.4を下回り、市場予想の46.7を下回った。これは全体的な経済活動の低下を示している。前月にやや改善を示したサービス業が再び縮小に転じ、製造業の生産高は引き続き減少した。新規ビジネスの流入は2020年5月以来の大幅な落ち込みとなり、受注残は再び減少した。また、9月に比べて就業者数が約3年ぶりに減少し、失業率が上昇した。物価面では、生産コストの上昇率は9月の低水準に続いて以来、10月は比較的安定していた。最後に、企業は今後景況の見通しに対し悲観的な見方を持っている。
