スイス中銀が追加利下げを決定、フランは一息つく

スイス中央銀行（SNB）は6月の会合で政策金利を0.25％ポイント引き下げて1.25％にすると発表し、市場の予想とおりと一致した。過去には、インフレ圧力は国内のサービス価格の上昇から生じていた。当面、コアインフレ圧力が落ち着き、スイスフランが力強く上昇し、スイス中銀は政策金利の再調整によって経済状況に適した金融政策を維持している。 

スイス中銀は、政策金利が1.25％に据え置かれるとして、今年の平均インフレ率を1.3％と予想した。そして、来年は1.1％へとわずかに低下し、2026年には1.0％へとさらに低下する。これらの見通しは3月の会合から変更されていない。 

経済成長に関しては、スイス中銀は楽観的だが慎重な見方をしており、国内総生産（GDP）は2024年には1％前後の緩やかな成長となり、来年には1.5％まで上昇すると予想している。スイス中銀はまた、失業率の若干の上昇も予想しているが、稼働率はほぼ横ばいで推移すると見ている。 

金融政策決定会合前、スイスフランは、対米ドル相場で3ヵ月ぶりの高値に接近し、対ユーロ相場で4ヵ月ぶりの高値近くまで急騰した。欧州議会選挙で極右勢力が台頭し、フランスの政情不安を招いたため、投資家は従来の安全資産であるスイスフランに目を向けるようになった。 

利下げ決定を受けて、フラン対米ドル相場で約0.5％下落し、0.89レベルに近づいた。
