地政学リスクが高まるなか、原油と金が上昇 

火曜日、WTI原油先物価格は、ウクライナがロシアのエネルギー施設を攻撃し、中東地域における緊張が高まっていることから、1バレル85ドルを超え、10月以来の高値となった。 

ダマスカスにあるイラン大使館がミサイル攻撃で破壊され、司令官2名と軍事顧問5名が死亡したことを受け、イランはイスラエルへの復讐を誓った。一方、メキシコの国営石油会社は、今後数ヶ月の間に原油輸出を削減する計画を発表し、既存の供給が不足する恐れが高まった。また、OPECプラスは次回の合同閣僚監視委員会で、市場を見直し、加盟国が生産枠を遵守しているかを評価する予定だが、逸脱はない見込み。最後に、米中両国の製造業購買担当者景況指数が予想を上回ったことで、石油需要回復の見通しが強まった。
