3月の米国消費者物価指数（CPI）は前年比3.5％上昇し、6ヵ月ぶりの高水準となった。コアCPIは3ヵ月連続で予想を上回り、前年比は3.8％と予想の3.7％を上回った。市場では、米連邦準備制度理事会（FRB）が6月に利下げを実施する確率は2割未満で、1年間で2回以下の利下げになると予想している。 

  • FOMC議事要旨 

ほぼ全員が年内の利下げが適切と判断し、「かなり早く」国債保有残高を削減していく用意があり、毎月のテーパリングペースを約半分にすることを望んでいる。
