世界有数の大型鉱業会社BHPビリトン社は、現在、精製銅の不足が予想され、2024年には銅精鉱の供給が非常に厳しくなると指摘している。 

  • 需要の高まり 

米国のインフレ率は月に過去4ヵ月で最も上昇し、利下げ観測が後退したことで、しばらくの間、金属価格の重荷となったが、世界的なPMIの回復は、消費の改善と在庫の減らすが工業用金属価格に拍車をかけていることを示唆している。供給不足と消費改善という2つの要因を考慮すると、銅価格は有望な上昇トレンドにある。
